These tow mirrors slides over your existing vehicle’s mirrors and extends your towing vision without obstructing your existing mirror giving you a wider field of view while you are driving down the road. Basically it slides over your factory mirror and with the designated hook (which is provided) it will clamp the mirror in place. This hook will hook over the edge of the vehicle's existing mirror.
