Before the really cold weather strikes, you'll need to winterize your RV. Now is the time to decide whether your camping season is over or not. Don't wait till the last minute to get the items you will need. Storing your RV for the winter requires some preventive measures so you will be ready in the spring. You'll be glad you winterized when you don't have costly repair bills due to the damaging results of winter. If you're like me and do your routine maintenance on your RV, here are some of the winterizing items you will need.
Completely clear your water lines with RV blow-out plugs. Screw the plug into the city water inlet, open all drains and faucets, attach and activate air pump until all lines are clear of water. DO NOT EXCEED 45 psi AIR PRESSURE.
